Textbooks vs Ebooks

A few years ago, many were predicting that the high cost of textbooks would drive students towards ebooks. That view was reflected in articles like these:  “Required Reading: as textbook prices soar, students try to cope“. And yet, despite the high cost of textbooks, students continue buying expensive printed textbooks. As this article reports, “92% of college students prefer print books to ebooks”. Why do students prefer to pay more for printed books?
